Starting off with the production and shooting. Firstly, I’d like to address my cast’s willingness to cooperate despite weather conditions and fasting during Ramadan since, we were getting closer to the deadline.

Unfortunately, all the tea stalls were closed due to Friday prayers and we had to pick an improvised location for our initial scenes. There was also an ongoing dispute with Afghanistan which meant that the entire area which we were shooting at was the red zone. It was extremely dangerous to shoot that morning but Muzammil had to leave for Karachi soon so… Yeah, we put our lives on the line.

This was our revised shooting schedule. An alternative for location A was the cow shelter right next to the field. although, it reeked of… well, cow dung and feed. Me and Muzammil told the rest of the cast to wait and went through the entire field (Got our shoes covered in mud), got to the cow shelter, asked for their consent to shoot (Not the cows, there was a man present) and shot the scene. We finished shooting by 5pm. The shoot was 9 hours long but gladly didn’t lose the videos this time and everything was backed up. Kuddos to the team for spending the entire day with us despite having a mock the very next day.
