heart wrenching…. Moving on, MUSIC. I first heard this beautiful piece ‘Bakul and titli’ on youtube while seamlessly scrolling and immediately knew this is the vibe i want. Music is necessary to create an enviroment and mood in the film.

The music I used was:

What truly mesmerized me about this piece was that I’ve never seen music which sounds like the rain. I mean, I’ve heard the rain but not music which seems like it. It truly reminded me of when I watched ‘Barfi’ years back during the rain. May all our rains sound like this.

The idea behind choosing this music was to incorporate it with poetry and present something that will represent naive and innocence of the characters as well as their love together… For a choldhood love story, this was perfect to convey the mood.

First and final choice, ladies and gentlemen.

This is the email i submitted to the composer of the piece. Let’s hope for a positive response….
